Job description

Job Title: Contract Administrator

Type: Contract (Part-Time, Remote)

Duration: April through early September

Compensation: $33–$45/hour

Schedule: 25–30 hours/week (3–4 days preferred)

Hours: Must work within EST

Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, 4012(k), and PTO

Overview

A prominent professional services organization is seeking a Contract Administrator for additional supporte. This role is heavily focused on reviewing, redlining, and managing vendor and client agreements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong contract redlining experience who is comfortable working across multiple agreement types and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, redline, and process vendor contracts and client agreements
  • Manage contract workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
  • Track and maintain the status of all active agreements
  • Process contracts for vendors and independent contractors, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed
  • Review third-party agreements and align them with internal templates and standards
  • Identify potential risks in contract language and escalate appropriately to internal stakeholders
Role Breakdown
  • Majority focus on vendor contracts and client agreements
  • High volume of standard commercial agreements (services, vendor, and client-facing)
  • Limited exposure to grants; this is not a grant-heavy role
  • Strong emphasis on contract review and redlining (not negotiation)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of contract administration experience with a focus on redlining
  • Experience working with vendor and/or client-facing agreements required
  • Strong understanding of contract structure, terms, and risk considerations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience working with PDFs and contract templates
Additional Details
  • Equipment will be provided
  • Candidates should be comfortable reviewing contracts, identifying risk, and supporting internal decision-making (no negotiation responsibilities)
