Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute crisis intervention strategies by collaborating with clients to create effective safety plans, relapse prevention steps, and recovery resources.

  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of therapy interventions and adjust treatment plans in consultation with clients.
  • Document client progress and therapy sessions comprehensively using electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a wide array of client demographics, including diverse individuals, families, and couples facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Valid licensure to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in Virginia is required.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing diverse client issues and adapting therapeutic approaches accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar mental health counseling role.
