Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings aimed at evaluating clients' mental health needs, integrating diagnostic tools and patient histories to inform treatment decisions.
• Design individualized treatment plans that address specific client challenges and aspirations, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and tailoring interventions to ensure synergistic progress.
• Lead both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques grounded in current psychological research to facilitate healing and growth among participants.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various specialties—sharing insights and treatment strategies—to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care across our expansive client base.
• Engage clients' families through educational sessions and support programs, enhancing their understanding of mental health challenges and promoting active involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain up-to-date, detailed client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Given our clinic's commitment to serving all members of the community, you will have the opportunity to work with patients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, thus enhancing your clinical expertise and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish meaningful connections with clients and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach in supporting clients, recognizing the trust placed in you during their psychological journeys.
• Strong organizational skills and time-management capabilities to effectively navigate caseloads and attend to administrative responsibilities without compromising the quality of care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health setting or a similar role is highly preferred, providing insights into the unique challenges faced by individuals accessing mental health services through clinics.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, will be advantageous.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ages, and life experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $50,000 and $70,000 annually, which reflects the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Our benefits package includes:
