You will join a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health specialists who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Body and Soul, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation practices.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated and effective treatment, sharing insights and participating in regular case consultations.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Staying informed about the latest research and developments in the field to continually enhance your clinical practice.
• Managing a full caseload, ensuring that treatment goals are met and clients are progressing towards improved mental health.

Your work will primarily involve patients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward recovery, utilizing a person-centered approach that respects their unique experiences and cultural backgrounds.

This role requires you to hold:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in psychotherapy provision.
• Proficiency in various solution-based therapeutic techniques and a solid understanding of mental health practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to adapt strategies for client needs.
• The capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Candidates with experience in detoxification settings and advanced therapeutic methodologies will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is an asset, enhancing your ability to deliver seamless care in a remote environment.
