• Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop a personalized treatment plan based on client needs, preferences, and evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through therapeutic processes using culturally sensitive and inclusive approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, using proven techniques to stabilize clients in distress and offer immediate resource referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress within EHR systems while adhering to legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Your work will encompass a diverse range of clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will be responsible for creating a safe and accepting therapeutic space that encourages vulnerability and growth, promoting long-term mental health well-being among your clients. Strong cultural competence is essential for effectively engaging with individuals from varied backgrounds and adapting interventions to meet their unique needs.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating progressively responsible roles in therapeutic practice.
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the ability to utilize evidence-based interventions effectively.

• Experience in diagnosing and treating complex mental health conditions and familiarity with the latest treatment modalities.
• Proficient in delivering therapy that accommodates individual differences, leveraging insights from recent advances in mental health awareness.
• Adept in using EHR software and comfortable with virtual care platforms.
