• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health needs of each client, ensuring the formulation of personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations.
• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy, employing techniques tailored to the distinct needs and backgrounds of clients.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses both mental and physical health concerns.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to enhance mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and promote healthy coping mechanisms through workshops and seminars.

Your role will involve working with a diverse group of clients, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to help those facing a wide array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Our clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, aiming to meet each client where they are in their journey towards healing.

• A current and valid state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish meaningful rapport with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on maintaining meticulous documentation and treatment records.

• Experience in a community or outpatient setting, ideally within a mental health clinic.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and client management.
• Proven track record of crisis intervention experience and managing acute cases.
• Skills in facilitating group therapy sessions and community workshops are highly advantageous.
