Position: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer
Location: Remote , Michigan (U.S. Based)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET
Role Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer will support a strategic internal transformation initiative focused on expanding and enhancing the credit union's Microsoft Dynamics platform and service management capabilities. The individual will partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology leaders to design, develop, configure, and deploy solutions that improve service delivery, workflow efficiency, and member support operations. This role requires strong Dynamics 365 development expertise combined with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions. Experience within banking, credit unions, or other regulated financial services environments is highly preferred. While experience with C#, Power Platform, integrations, and automation is important, this is primarily a business-focused Dynamics development role rather than a pure software engineering position.

Performance Objectives
1. Design and Deploy New Dynamics 365 Service Solutions
Within the first 90 days, partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy new Microsoft Dynamics 365 service management capabilities that improve operational efficiency and member support processes. Lead the customization and configuration of workflows, business rules, forms, dashboards, and service processes while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Success will be measured through delivery of approved use cases, stakeholder satisfaction, user adoption, and achievement of project milestones. This objective may be enhanced through AI-assisted development, workflow design, and testing tools.
2. Build and Enhance Dynamics 365 Integrations and Automations
Within the first 120 days, develop and support integrations between Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and other enterprise applications to streamline business operations and reduce manual processing. Utilize C#, APIs, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related Microsoft technologies to improve workflow efficiency and data accessibility. Success will be measured through successful deployment of integrations, reduced manual effort, improved process performance, and achievement of defined business outcomes. 3. Establish Sustainable Dynamics Development and Governance Practices
Before completion of the engagement, create scalable development standards, documentation, support procedures, and governance processes that enable the organization to maintain and extend the Dynamics platform effectively. Work closely with internal teams to transfer knowledge and ensure long-term sustainability of solutions delivered during the project.
