As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to effectively address the unique challenges faced by students.
• Documenting patient interactions and maintaining meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborating closely with school personnel, including counselors and educational staff, to provide holistic care that supports students' academic and social development.
• Engaging in regular peer consultations and case review meetings to enhance clinical understanding and improve patient care standards.
• Empowering families by providing education about mental health issues, introducing treatment options, and connecting them with community resources.
• Staying informed about the latest research and clinical practices in mental health to continually refine your skills and knowledge base.

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, supporting them in navigating mental health challenges that affect their educational journey. You will interact with a diverse population, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and behavioral concerns. This role requires not just clinical expertise, but also a deep understanding of the educational landscape and how mental health significantly impacts a student's ability to learn and thrive.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, with an emphasis on working with children and adolescents.
• Proven proficiency in various solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
