Duties
Help
  • Manages a large franchise restaurant kitchen.
  • Oversees all food production operations and is responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of all food products in a timely manner and according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales. Maintains budgeted food and kitchen labor costs and proper inventories. Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items.
  • As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors' employees. Conducts management review of patron food production programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
  • Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
  • Will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Statement to safeguard all Franchisor proprietary information. Will be required to complete Franchise training as required in Operating Manuals.
  • Must be able and willing to work a schedule that includes working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Work experience managing or directing the activities of full service franchise style restaurant (ie. Steakhouse, etc).
  • Minimum two years experience as a General Manager or Kitchen Manager full service Franchise restaurant concept is preferred.

The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.
