Summary

The Data and Reporting Analyst is a full-time employee of Zeiders responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to support organizational decision-making and strategic initiatives. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights by developing dashboards, generating recurring and ad hoc reports, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver clear, concise, and visually compelling reports that drive informed decisions.


Operating in a fully remote environment, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, proficiency with data visualization tools including Power BI, and experience working with large datasets using databases (SQL, Dataverse), data marts, and Excel, in addition to other data and analytics platforms.

The analyst must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, virtual team setting.

The Remote Data and Reporting Analyst supports federal government contracts by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable data analysis and reporting. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with contract requirements, supporting performance monitoring, and enabling data-driven decision-making for both internal stakeholders and government clients.

The successful individual will coordinate with various corporate partners and government customers to meet program objectives through reporting functions. In addition, the analyst will provide outcome-based metrics to showcase the success of the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, consolidate and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Perform database inquiries, compile and analyze data, identify trends, and furnish statistical analyses and reports on service delivery.
  • Present findings in clear, concise formats tailored to different audiences.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft tools to support decision-making.
  • Automate reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support leadership requests.
  • Establish procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient collection and entry of data into reporting system.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, including a dictionary, reports, and analysis processes.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
  • Recommend improvements to existing processes based on data insights and collaborating with teams to improve system performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative analysis, information technology, or a related field PLUS Two years’ experience in providing qualitative or quantitative data compilation, analysis, reporting, and database management. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Complex Database management experience and manipulation using tools such as SQL, Python or Excel or other data marts to meet user needs
  • Professional experience using visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong mathematical skills, data modeling, and proven successful experience to analyze, model, and interpret data.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience using strong interpersonal skills such as collaboration and coordination with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and demonstrated ability to use software to prepare management reports and present information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or familiarity with the military lifestyle
  • Prior experience working with the Fleet and Family Support Programs.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
