• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on practical outcomes.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to address mental health concerns.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, including workshops and seminars, to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health.

As an LPC with Presidio County Trauma & Recovery Services, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Our client-centered approach emphasizes respect for individual experiences, promoting empowerment and healing through personalized therapeutic interventions. You will engage with clients seeking both immediate support and long-term therapeutic relationships, with an emphasis on community outreach and accessibility.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly preferred.
• Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and understanding various referral processes.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, including familiarity with emerging trends in mental health.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses and a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
