Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilledSystems Engineer (SE)to join ourState, Local, and Education (SLED)team in Arizona. This role is critical in driving technical strategy, enabling customer success, and supporting sales initiatives across the SLED market. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing deep technical expertise and innovative solutions that align with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical strategies for SLED customers.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Design and architect solutions leveraging our portfolio (networking, compute, storage, cloud, security).
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, including RFP responses and solution validation.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Support customer enablement and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:5+ years in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role.
  • Expertise:Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud architectures, security, and data center technologies.
  • Familiarity with SLED procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within Arizona as needed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as JNCIP, Aruba Professional Certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience with public sector contracts and funding models.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-vendor environments.
Location:
  • Candidates must reside in Pheonix AZ area and have the ability to travel to customer sites within the assigned territory on a regular basis
