Job description

Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Plano, TX / Richmond, VA / McLean, VA (Onsite) Job Description:
  • Deep understanding of data center switching architectures, including Cisco ACI (APIC, leaf-spine topology, and endpoint groups) and Arista EOS (CloudVision, VXLAN/EVPN). Ability to maintain existing ACI fabrics while leading the integration and deployment of Arista-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in python and ansible for task automation and managing network configurations.
  • Solid grasp of AWS networking services, including VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, NLB, and PrivateLink. Experience managing hybrid connectivity via AWS Direct Connect to facilitate application migration from on-premises data centers to AWS. Knowledge of AWS Route 53 resolver.
  • Ability to design and troubleshoot traffic flows to ensure high availability and optimal performance for migrated applications.
  • Ability to support large-scale application migrations from legacy hardware to software-defined environments. This includes performing discovery, mapping dependencies, and executing cutover plans with minimal downtime.
  • No specific certifications required, but AWS Solution Architect and/or AWS Advanced Networking are beneficial.
