AWS Networking & Storage Engineer Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required Overview
• We are hiring a Networking & Storage Engineer with deep expertise in AWS networking architecture and cloud storage systems. This role focuses on performance, reliability, and secure connectivity across complex environments.
• Responsibilities
• Design and implement AWS networking architectures (VPC, subnets, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs)
• Manage DNS, load balancing (ELB/ALB/NLB), and network security controls
• Architect scalable storage solutions (S3, EBS, EFS, FSx)
• Optimize data throughput, latency, and storage cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot networking and storage performance issues
• Implement encryption, backup, and disaster recovery strategies Required Skills
• Strong AWS networking experience (VPC design, routing, hybrid connectivity)
• Hands-on expertise with AWS storage services
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing
• Experience with network monitoring and performance tuning
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks Preferred
• Experience in high-performance or data-intensive environments
• Certifications: AWS Advanced Networking or similar Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret Clearance required. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: 140,000 – 200,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
