Finance Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Finance client, Procom is searching for a Finance Business Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is remote, based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Finance Business Analyst - Job Description:
This role involves working on a 3-phased project for a new US clearing mandate introduced by the SEC to improve the stability and transparency of the US Treasury market. The project includes the separation of in-house vs. client trades, clearing of eligible cash outrights, and clearing of eligible repo/reverse repos.
Finance Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Support the Director and Associate Director in executing the strategic direction for large program implementation activities impacting Global Capital Markets for Financial Control.
• Work with relevant project teams and stakeholders in Finance to help plan and perform UAT and PIV for Financial Control related to project implementations.
• Collaborate with Finance counterparts in Financial Control, Product Control, Tax, and Enterprise Finance and other key project stakeholders (e.g., Operations, IT, etc.) to execute against plan and help identify, elevate, and address key execution risks.
• Assist Financial Control in planning and ongoing discussions related to integration/implementation initiatives.
• Support Finance with respect to accounting, financial reporting, and controls and governance, ensuring transactions are accurately and completely captured in RBC financial systems.
Finance Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Basic Webex / Microsoft Office software for daily use.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (subledgers and general ledgers) to perform UAT and PIV.
• 5+ years of financial institution experience in Finance.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial reporting under IFRS accounting standards and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Proficiency with computer applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Finance Business Analyst - Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CPA designation or equivalent.
• Exposure to Capital Markets businesses.
• Knowledge of RBC financial systems and associated procedures.
Finance Business Analyst - Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

ASAP.
