In this role, you will help shape (and continuously elevate) our SharePoint Online–hosted intranet, while building the custom applications, APIs, and Power Platform solutions that power how legal professionals collaborate, find knowledge, and move work forward—fast.

The Senior Collaboration Solutions Engineer will partner directly with practice groups, Firm leadership, and IT stakeholders to translate complex legal workflows into secure and scalable solutions—from SharePoint experiences and SaaS and external system integrations to AI solutions that drive outcomes.  Come join our team, where you will modernize and extend the Firm’s intranet, create automation and build integrations that create the ecosystem as one coherent experience.

  • Designs, builds, and enhances SharePoint Online intranet solutions using SPFx web parts and extensions using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React;
  • Supports and enhances the Firm intranet, collaboration sites, including embedded solutions in SharePoint;
  • Integrates SharePoint with internal systems and third-party platforms;
  • Designs and delivers Power Apps (integrated with SharePoint or standalone), Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards;
  • Builds secure backend services and APIs using C# and modern .NET 8 and later;
  • Implements CI/CD pipelines and support production systems;
  • Collaborates directly with business stakeholders and IT leadership;
  • Applies AI-assisted development and Copilot responsibly;
  • Responsible for Power Platform and LowCode Solutions;
  • JavaScript/Front-End Development that connects the ecosystem;
  • Creates secure RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations that connect SharePoint Online with internal systems, data sources, and third-party platforms;
  • Consumes and integrates REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API to surface data across Firm applications;
  • Builds responsive, accessible UI components that integrate with Microsoft 365 services and third-party legal platforms;
  • Follows Firm change management, security, and deployment standards; participate in testing, QA, and release management (SDLC);
  • Provides training and support to Firm staff on deployed tools and platforms; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; Bachelor’s degree (or higher) preferred;
  • Strong SharePoint Online experience including site administration, information architecture, and content management;
  • At least 3–5 years’ experience building production solutions using SharePoint Online in a professional services or enterprise environment; experience in BigLaw strongly preferred;
  • Hands-on SPFx development with TypeScript and React; strong JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals;
  • Practical Power Platform experience: Power Apps (canvas/model-driven) and Power Automate with AI applications;
  • Experience integrating via REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange integrations, Dataverse);
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical professionals;
  • Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional client service skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Modern .NET (8 - 10) experience building services and integrations;
  • Azure experience (Logic Apps, Functions, App Registrations) and CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions;
  • Experience with legal-specific platforms, such as iManage or similar;
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (PL-400, MS-600, or other Azure/M365/SharePoint certifications); and
  • Availability to work additional hours, as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained.
