Senior ERP Project Manager - Data Conversion
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to lead the data conversion and migration workstream for a large-scale ERP transformation program. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all aspects of the data migration effort, ensuring business-critical data is accurately extracted, cleansed, transformed, validated, and loaded into the new ERP platform.
The ideal candidate has successfully managed enterprise ERP data conversion initiatives and can effectively coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data analysts, technical teams, and implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end ERP data conversion workstream throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables for all data migration activities.
  • Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and final data loads.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define data ownership, governance, quality standards, and migration priorities.
  • Work closely with functional and technical ERP teams to ensure conversion requirements align with business processes and system configuration.
  • Manage multiple mock conversions, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, and production data migration activities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to data quality, timing, integrations, and business readiness.
  • Facilitate workshops to define data mapping, transformation rules, and validation criteria.
  • Track project progress and communicate status, issues, risks, and executive updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate activities across implementation partners, internal IT teams, and business units.
  • Ensure all migration activities comply with project governance, audit, and documentation standards.
  • Support post-go-live validation and issue resolution related to converted data.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience leading large enterprise technology implementations.
  • 5+ years managing ERP implementations with significant responsibility for data conversion or migration.
  • Experience managing data migration activities for platforms such as Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar enterprise ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of:
