Job description

ConnectHealth Staff is a rapidly growing Locum Tenens staffing company supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, and our healthcare partners, nationwide.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Invoice & Expense Analyst to support our finance and operations teams. This role is critical in ensuring accurate expense tracking, invoice submission, and timely collection of outstanding payments.

Location: Remote but may require infrequent office visits in Nashville, TN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track provider expenses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
  • Submit time invoices, expense invoices, and invoice corrections to clients in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate closely with travel and operations teams to locate, obtain, and track outstanding expenses and supporting documentation.
  • Review and correct expense invoices for accuracy, required documentation, and client-specific billing requirements.
  • Prepare and submit expense exceptions to clients when required.
  • Submit client invoices in accordance with contractual billing guidelines and client requirements.
  • Track and follow up on aged invoices, outstanding payments, and unresolved billing items.
  • Enter provider placements, pay data, and related information into payroll systems and registries.
  • Assist with payroll-related system inputs, audits, and updates as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative, operational, payroll, and finance support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, expense management, payroll support, or finance operations
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Healthcare staffing or professional services experience strongly preferred but not required
