Job description

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Sales organization, you will lead customer planning, forecasting, assortment strategy, promotional execution, and executive relationship management across an assigned portfolio of regional retail accounts. You will work closely with E-commerce, Business Planning, Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across all channels and deliver sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong account management expertise with strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and exceptional relationship-building skills. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to translate customer opportunities into scalable growth strategies that drive revenue, market share, and profitability.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Account Strategy and Business Growth

  • Develop and execute omni-channel business strategies that drive sales growth across assigned regional retail accounts
  • Build annual and long-range account plans that support revenue objectives, market share expansion, and profitability goals
  • Identify new opportunities to expand TCL's presence across in-store, digital, and marketplace channels
  • Develop account-specific growth initiatives supported by data, insights, and customer trends
  • Drive successful execution of promotional programs, product launches, and seasonal initiatives

Forecasting, Planning and Financial Management

  • Lead ongoing sales forecasting and business planning processes across assigned accounts
  • Develop and maintain rolling 90-day and 120-day sell-in plans in partnership with Business Planning and Supply Chain teams
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance against forecasts, sales targets, inventory goals, and operational objectives
  • Manage assigned budgets while identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and operational efficiency
  • Negotiate annual vendor agreements and manage associated investments, accruals, and expenditures
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks related to deductions, chargebacks, and customer offsets

Retail and E-Commerce Collaboration

  • Partner closely with TCL's E-commerce Sales team to ensure alignment between retail and online growth strategies
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans across third-party marketplaces and digital retail platforms
  • Collaborate across channel teams to create a consistent customer experience and maximize omni-channel performance
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer-facing online portals and operational systems

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across assigned retail accounts
  • Lead customer business reviews, planning meetings, assortment discussions, and strategic growth conversations
  • Drive shelf-share expansion and assortment opportunities during annual line reviews and merchandising summits
  • Partner with customers on inventory management, replenishment planning, demand forecasting, and operational execution
  • Represent TCL as a trusted strategic partner and world-class consumer electronics brand

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Planning, and E-commerce teams to support business objectives
  • Lead and participate in customer forecasting, CPFR meetings, inventory reviews, and joint business planning sessions
  • Provide actionable market intelligence and customer insights to support product, promotional, and channel strategies
  • Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and customer objectives to drive execution excellence

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of progressive sales and account management experience within consumer electronics, retail, or related industries
  • Proven success managing regional and/or national retail accounts with responsibility for revenue growth and customer development
  • Strong understanding of omni-channel retail strategies, including both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce environments
  • Demonstrated experience developing account plans, forecasting demand, and managing financial performance
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, and executive presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven decision-making approach
  • Self-motivated leader with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to travel approximately 40โ€“50% for customer meetings, trade shows, business reviews, and corporate events
  • Must be based in Minneapolis and able to work from the TCL office when not traveling

  • Experience within the consumer electronics industry, including televisions, audio products, or adjacent categories
  • Familiarity with regional retail accounts and omni-channel sales environments
  • Experience collaborating with E-commerce and marketplace sales organizations
  • Background working within global organizations and managing cross-functional partnerships across international teams
  • Experience leading CPFR processes, assortment planning, inventory management, and retailer business reviews
