Health Bridge Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trauma-Focused Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience, employing therapeutic modalities customized to each patient's unique needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), delivering effective individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Manage crisis situations by providing timely intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stabilization.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, facilitating greater understanding and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices within the clinic.
  • Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and therapeutic techniques in the field of trauma therapy, contributing to the development of innovative treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma-related challenges, including PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Many of our clients are navigating difficult experiences that require sensitivity, understanding, and specialized approaches to therapy. You will have the opportunity to make significant, lasting impacts on their recovery journeys, helping them develop resilience and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on trauma-informed care.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a familiarity with diverse trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly valued.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and supportive therapeutic alliance.
  • The ability to remain composed in high-stress environments, adapting to the complex needs of clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
  • A collaborative mindset, with an eagerness to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working specifically with trauma survivors and employing trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
