Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health status and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique situation.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic goals and methods as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide teletherapy services for clients facing challenges in attending in-person sessions, utilizing HIPAA-compliant platforms for secure communication.
  • Maintain precise documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and additional training to stay informed of the latest research and practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. We emphasize a strengths-based approach that empowers clients to harness their resilience and work towards personal growth and healing.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental demeanor that fosters a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively handle a diverse caseload.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in conducting teletherapy and using video conferencing tools.
  • Prior experience working in a community health or private practice setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and client management.
