  • Data analyst, very proficient in excel, resource management experience

Job Description:
  • The Business Metrics/Analytics is responsible for analyzing NPD project resource information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the R&D organization and drive data management excellence. Includes data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics generation/management and reporting.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts and principles of business metrics and analytical techniques/tools.
  • Works with and enhances utilization of current software systems l to improve Project and Portfolio Management processes .
  • The ideal candidate combines the skills of portfolio, resource management and forecasting.

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Business, Data Engineering, or related discipline
  • One or more years of experience in relevant analytical experience with a focus on planning, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting required
  • Portfolio Management
  • Resource Planning and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office
  • Expert level experience with Excel is a key requirement of the Analyst (pivot tables, macros, reports, charts, slicers, dashboards)
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g. PlanView) is a plus
  • Power BI experience is also strongly desired
  • Experience with tools utilized to automate and create/maintain analytical reports and dashboards
  • Experience translating analysis results into recommendations.
  • Collect, organize, analyze and summarize complex data
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and test/implement them using an iterative approach
  • Ability to drive requests and issues to closure
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Collaboration and facilitation within the Portfolio Management Team and with users and other stakeholders as needed
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
