  • 4+ years of experience in purchasing operations, supply chain, or order management
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong systems aptitude with demonstrated experience in ERP platforms
  • Experience coordinating with logistics, traffic, or receiving functions
  • High attention to detail with a track record of data accuracy under volume
  • Proficiency in Excel; ability to build and maintain order tracking reports
Preferred
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Background in wholesale distribution, e-commerce, or consumer products
  • Experience supporting or participating in an ERP implementation
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Partner with Director of Operations and HR on hiring and team development
PO Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee accurate and timely entry of all purchase orders into NetSuite
  • Own order tracking from PO placement through warehouse receiving confirmation
  • Maintain up-to-date ETA records; proactively identify and escalat delivery risks
  • Manage PO amendments, cancellations, and discrepancy resolution
  • Ensure all PO documentation is complete, filed, and audit-ready
  • Monitor vendor on-time delivery performance and maintain scorecards
  • Serve as the operational escalation point for vendor shipping delays, shortages, and compliance issues
  • Coordinate with Merchandising on vendor communication when delivery issues require buyer-level intervention
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Own the inbound handoff workflow between Merchandising and PO Operations - ensure buyer PO intent is fully captured before execution begins
  • Coordinate with Traffic and Logistics on inbound freight scheduling, routing, and carrier communication
  • Partner with Receiving and Warehouse & Traffic teams to ensure smooth receiving confirmation and NetSuite closure
  • Provide order status reporting to Merchandising, Operations, and Finance stakeholders on a defined cadence
Systems & Process
  • Serve as the PO Operations functional lead for the April 2027 NetSuite/Shopify ERP implementation, including workflow design, UAT participation, and team training
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for all PO entry, tracking, and receiving workflows
  • Identify process gaps and system inefficiencies; escalat with recommended solutions
  • Ensure team proficiency across all relevant systems including NetSuite, Shopify, and carrier portals
