Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase Order Review Clerk that will be responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Review customer purchase orders and compare the information to the ERP system.
  • Responsible for reviewing all customer purchase orders carefully and accurately for confirmation into the company ERP system.
  • Regularly access customer portals to acquire latest revisions of documents as stated on customer purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update electronic work instructions (Q clause).
  • Notify in writing any discrepancies found when reviewing the purchase order for corrections. and/or additional information needed from the customer.
  • Work closely with the CSS’s and other sales staff to provide support as needed.
  • Correct and modify inaccurate files or records into various databases.
  • Cross train into other areas within the department.
  • Embrace and promote the company’s culture beliefs as a means to achieve the Key Results.
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with Aluminum Precision Products Employee Code of Conduct.
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the APP leadership.

Skill Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service or data entry role required.
  • Intermediate Office 365.
  • Previous knowledge of IFS is a plus.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person (U.S. Person = a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.73 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
