This remote-based position operates with the same rigor and support as a traditional office environment. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate the status of patients, utilizing reputable tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Create individualized treatment plans that reflect the cultural diversity and unique needs of your patients.

• Implement and assess ongoing therapeutic interventions to track patient progress effectively, adjusting treatment strategies to enhance mental health outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to create comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their goals and healthcare needs.

• Proactively develop therapeutic objectives while anticipating patient safety needs and potential symptom exacerbation, demonstrating adeptness in crisis management.

• Facilitate referrals to external service providers, establishing strong professional relationships to ensure continuity of care for your patients.

• Engage in educational activities by providing mentorship to students, interns, and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaboration under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, helping enhance overall team performance and patient outcomes.

The focus of this position is to provide support to individuals and families grappling with the psychological ramifications of cancer diagnoses. Your role will directly influence their mental health journey, offering therapeutic strategies to help them navigate emotional challenges, manage stress, and build coping mechanisms.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• At least two years of experience in mental health practice, ideally within outpatient settings.

Experience in oncology social work or working with patients facing chronic illnesses is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and an understanding of health disparities can further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
