Job description

Job Title: Senior Partnership Development Officer

Work Location: Remote

Reports to: Director, Partnership Development & Emergency Response

Employment Status: Full Time

Travel: 10% to 15%

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Partnership Development Officer builds, manages, and grows nonprofit partner relationships that support the distribution of Gift-in-Kind donations around the globe. This role oversees an assigned portfolio of partnerships, strengthens existing relationships, and actively identifies and secures new partners to expand MAP's medicine distribution outreach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Long-Term Health Development Responsibilities

Partner Portfolio Management: Develop, maintain, and grow an assigned portfolio of program partners that distribute MAP medicines and supplies for rehabilitation, relief, and long-term health programs.

Relationship Development: Strengthen retention and growth among agencies serving long-term health programs through regular communication, responsive service, and visits in the US and internationally.

Service Fee Revenue Growth: Manage major assigned program accounts to consistently meet or exceed annual service-fee revenue goals.

New Partner Development: Identify and secure new partnerships, with at least 10%-15% of personal revenue generated from new partners.

Inventory and Shipment Coordination: Allocate donated and purchased inventory to meet partner requests across multiple countries, ensuring shipments align with formulary and product dating requirements.

Donation Review: Review and accept pharmaceutical donation offers in collaboration with appropriate team members, considering therapeutic classification, product dating, volume, known encumbrances, and current inventory at the MAP Distribution Center.

Partner Screening and Compliance: Ensure each portfolio partner is properly screened and that eligibility forms are updated annually in accordance with MAP standards, ACCORD, and WHO guidelines.

Budget Planning: Assist with annual fiscal-year budget planning for the Long-Term Health Development department.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Director of Partnership Development and Emergency Response and is part of the Partnership & Innovation Team. While the role has no direct reports, it is expected to provide leadership, collaboration, and influence across the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Relevant Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in international medicines distribution required.

International Experience: Experience traveling internationally and working across diverse geographic regions and cultures preferred.

Mission-Based Portfolio Management: Portfolio management experience in a faith-based or humanitarian mission setting preferred.
