This position is primarily remote, enabling counselors to deliver care through a combination of virtual sessions and, when necessary, in-office consultations at our Sacramento, CA outpatient office. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to form an accurate understanding of client concerns, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques, to enhance clients' mental health and personal growth.
• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and continuously monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Provide teletherapy options to clients who prefer virtual sessions or face accessibility challenges, utilizing secure telehealth platforms to maintain confidentiality and care quality.
• Document all client interactions in a timely, thorough manner, adhering to ethical standards while reflecting our commitment to professional integrity.
• Engage in ongoing supervisory and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

This position serves a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health disorders. Our counselors cater to clients from varying backgrounds, considering cultural contexts and unique life experiences in their therapeutic approaches. With a focus on building rapport and trust, counselors work with clients to develop effective coping strategies and foster resilience in the face of life's challenges.

• Current and valid mental health licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to establish a safe therapeutic relationship through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients' experiences and challenges.
• Possess strong organizational and time-management abilities for effective caseload management and thorough documentation.

• Experience in providing therapy within a private practice setting or community mental health environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a track record of successfully applying them in clinical practice.
• Previous experience providing teletherapy or virtual counseling services.
