As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through their mental health challenges. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, ensuring a nuanced understanding of each client's circumstances.
• Designing and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on individual client needs, including conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) sessions.
• Documenting assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
• Engaging in regular communication with colleagues to review patient progress during interdisciplinary care meetings and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Providing case management, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and community resources to deliver comprehensive care and support.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting.
• A willingness to work flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week based on client needs.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in evidence-based therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be favored. Additionally, experience working in community health settings will complement your qualifications and enhance your effectiveness in this role.
