As a Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Indirect Sales Manager, you will lead strategic business development initiatives across Northern Europe, helping expand the adoption of innovative healthcare packaging solutions within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. In this highly customer-facing role, you will build long-term relationships with manufacturers, industry partners, and key stakeholders while identifying new commercial opportunities and driving sustainable growth. Working in a remote, international environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, technical, quality, marketing, and supply chain functions to deliver tailored customer solutions. This position offers the opportunity to influence material selection for critical healthcare applications, support innovation projects, and contribute to the future of sterile packaging across the EMEA region.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and high-growth healthcare organizations across Northern Europe and the broader EMEA region.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while maintaining a strong commercial pipeline through proactive account management and business development activities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, secure business opportunities, and protect existing business through customer-focused sales strategies.
  • Promote innovative healthcare packaging solutions by supporting customers in new product development, material selection, and alternative material adoption.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans that align commercial objectives with customer needs while fostering collaboration across international teams.
  • Partner closely with technical, quality, product management, supply chain, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
  • Represent the business within regional healthcare industry associations and maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Travel extensively across the EMEA region to develop customer relationships and support strategic commercial initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced technical degree is considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare industry, ideally in technical sales, business development, or commercial management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare packaging materials, including packaging science, nonwovens, films, coatings, and adhesives.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and sustainability considerations related to medical device and pharmaceutical packaging.
  • Experience working with major OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or comparable organizations within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and experience managing sales pipelines using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% across the EMEA region.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Fully remote, home-based position offering flexibility and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to work in an international environment with cross-functional collaboration across the EMEA region.
  • Exposure to innovative healthcare technologies and industry-leading products.
  • Career development opportunities within a global organization committed to professional growth.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven work culture.
  • Meaningful work contributing to advancements in healthcare packaging and patient safety.
  • Extensive customer engagement and strategic commercial responsibilities with regional impact.
