Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fullstack Developer (Java, React) based in Netherlands.

Join a collaborative software engineering environment focused on building innovative applications and products for large international organizations. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. The role combines robust backend development with modern frontend technologies, giving you the opportunity to work across the full stack. You will work with microservices, cloud technologies, relational and non-relational databases, and modern CI/CD practices. Working within Scrum teams, you will collaborate closely with experienced developers and contribute ideas that can directly influence product and process development. The position offers substantial opportunities for learning, mentoring, and expanding your technical skill set. You will also have the flexibility to work fully remotely while contributing to international projects and a knowledge-sharing culture.

Accountabilities
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, documentation, implementation, testing, and support.
  • Develop primarily new product functionalities using Java and React-based technologies.
  • Build and maintain scalable applications following microservices architecture principles.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable solutions in accordance with clean code and software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with other developers and project stakeholders within Scrum teams.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and actively propose solutions that improve products, processes, and development practices.
  • Work with modern development and delivery practices, including CI/CD, cloud technologies, version control, and automated quality processes.
  • Continuously learn and explore new technologies that can improve the products and solutions being developed.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Java 8/11 and strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Solid frontend development skills with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Understanding of modern software development principles, ideally including microservices architecture and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases and modern development tools is an advantage.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
  • Communicative English skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership, independence, and initiative, with the confidence to propose and implement your own solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for learning quickly and developing expertise in new technologies.
  • A collaborative mindset, with an interest in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary that increases significantly with experience.
  • Clear career progression and promotion opportunities through a defined development path.
  • Opportunity to change projects and gain experience across different technical environments.
  • Dedicated development budget for monthly training sessions and workshops.
  • Mentoring program to support your professional and technical growth.
  • 100% remote work.
  • Increased tax-deductible costs under a permanent employment contract.
  • Possibility to benefit from IP Box taxation for B2B contracts.
  • Opportunities to learn and work with technologies you have not previously used.
  • Real influence over product direction and the opportunity to implement your own ideas and solutions.
  • Supportive, harmonious, and development-oriented team culture focused on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Opportunity to strengthen your language skills through international projects.
