Job description

Overview

Editage, a brand of Cactus Communications, is a leading global research solutions provider helping scholars, universities, and institutions with editing, translation, publication support, and researcher training. We are now focused on expanding our presence in the United States, supporting researchers to publish with confidence and achieve global visibility.

Please note- This is a 3-month contractual opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Research U.S. universities, research labs, funding agencies, and publishing trends.
  • Track emerging conversations around AI, academic integrity, and publication ethics within the U.S. research ecosystem
  • Assist in Editage’s campaigns for the US audience (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, AI + Human launch, etc.).
  • Support digital marketing — Ideation, drafting posts, coordinating between teams for the launch of IMC campaigns.
  • Track social media and digital performance metrics; assist in weekly campaign reporting and insight gathering.
  • Support coordination for on-ground university presence — researcher meetups, student workshops, and conference tie-ups.
  • Help plan and execute virtual or hybrid events for grad students and faculty
  • Liaise with student groups and research organizations to drive awareness and partnerships.
  • Identify potential academic creators, grad fluencers, and research communicators in the U.S. to collaborate on campaigns.
  • Work on creator briefs and coordinate with creators on deliverables.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • Student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in academic publishing, research, or higher education.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media, and CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to work in a multicultural environment.

Application Process

Before applying, please ensure you meet the role requirements listed above and have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is advertised. Our selection process typically involves an initial screening by a recruiter, a technical assessment, and two to three interview rounds. For this role, the process starts with a screening call with the recruiter, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. All interactions will be conducted virtually via MS Teams.

Equal Opportunity

Our hiring practices reflect our commitment to providing equal opportunities and creating an environment where everyone can thrive, develop, and succeed. We celebrate the uniqueness of our team members and prohibit discrimination of any kind, based on race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Accelerating from Anywhere

As a remote-first organization, these are essential attributes we look for in all our candidates.

  • Taking ownership of your work with minimal supervision, showing strong ability to organize, prioritize and deliver results independently.
  • Documenting work that brings everyone on the same page.
  • Maturity to choose between synchronous and asynchronous collaboration.
  • Effectively collaborating with colleagues across different time zones by setting dedicated hours for collaboration and keeping team members updated through your MS Teams status.
