Overview
Intelligent Waves is seeking 2 Products Engineers to support the design, deployment, and sustainment of advanced enterprise technology solutions for our government customers. The Products Engineer will play a key role in developing and implementing scalable on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures across complex, geographically dispersed environments. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, optimize network and system performance, and deliver secure, reliable, and mission-focused capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cloud technologies, network engineering, automation, and operational support, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Location: This position is 100% remote with travel.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be a United State citizen and have the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with the DoD to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement networking infrastructures, both on-premises and cloud-based, in support of complex geographically dispersed Information Technology (IT) systems
  • Assist with the planning, development, and execution of product strategies and technology roadmaps
  • Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of mission-critical networks and servers to maintain optimal performance standards and SLA compliance
  • Deploy networks, applications, and services across major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure scalability, performance, and efficient resource utilization across enterprise environments
  • Utilize CI/CD and automation tools including Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment and configuration management processes, enabling efficient and reliable delivery of customer environments
  • Build and maintain technical documentation to support deployment, sustainment, troubleshooting, and incident resolution activities
  • Assist with network operations and maintenance troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues promptly, including participation in off-duty on-call support rotations as needed
  • Execute projects on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure Intelligent Waves products maintain competitive advantages
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and professional accountability across department members, encouraging constructive conflict resolution, inclusivity, and operational effectiveness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and configuration within major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate complex configurations and deployments
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper networking products
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure from vendors such as Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto
  • Experience with deployment and configuration of KG-175 and/or KG-255 encryption equipment
  • Deep understanding of Linux operating systems including RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server operating systems and associated server roles
  • Minimum five (5) years of IT Network and/or Systems Engineering experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify innovative technical solutions
  • Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic operational environments
  • Experience with the design, configuration, and implementation of CSfC solutions and associated compliance requirements
  • Foundational understanding of DoD procurement processes and schedules
  • Enterprise Routing and Switching Specialist (JNCIS-ENT) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)
  • Relevant work experience in a technical field utilizing the required skills and knowledge may be considered in lieu of formal education. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
