Location: Aberdeen, MD; Onsite/Hybrid

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to TS/SCI (U.S. Citizenship required)

Summary:

The Intelligence Systems Engineer (ESY3) drives interoperability engineering across Army communications suites, Intel Enablers, and Army Global Data Fabric (AGDF) cloud/on-prem services. This position integrates multi-bearer communications (CDL, Link-16, IBS, GBS, A-PNT) into the Army Integrated Tactical Network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tactical Communications Systems Engineering:
    • Perform systems engineering, installation design, and software integration for Army comms suites into Army Integrated Tactical Network baselines.
    • Ensure Five Eyes (FVEY) coalition interoperability across tactical transport layers.
  • Interoperability & Data Fabric Integration:
    • Design interoperability frameworks allowing IS&A products to interface with enterprise C5ISR systems.
    • Support AGDF enterprise transition and integration, building interfaces for current and projected intelligence systems (CDRL D1/D7).
  • Configuration Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile DoDAF OV-1s, System Design Documents (SDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) in Teamcenter/SAP against as-is Army comms suites baselines.


Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
    • 4+ years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience with tactical C5ISR, SATCOM, or intelligence data networks.
  • Direct experience with Army comms suites, Link-16, IBS, A-PNT, or AGDF/GWS platforms is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Technical: Interoperability standards (MOSA/CMOSS), ICD analysis, Teamcenter/SAP, network protocol analysis, C5ISR integration.
  • Soft Skills: Cross-team collaboration, clear technical documentation, analytical problem-solving.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.
