Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Position

We are seeking an LMFT to provide therapy to clients in Connecticut through telehealth. The work includes individual, couples, and family sessions, with clients presenting with relationship difficulties, family concerns, communication problems, and personal challenges.

You'll be responsible for managing your scheduled sessions, determining the focus of treatment, and keeping client records current. The position is a good fit for a clinician who is comfortable working independently and can bring a practical approach to both individual and relationship-focused therapy.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct scheduled therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families
  • Discuss relationship dynamics, family concerns, and personal issues affecting the client
  • Help clients identify areas they want to address and establish realistic goals
  • Use appropriate marriage and family therapy methods during treatment
  • Reassess the focus of therapy as client circumstances change
  • Complete intake information, progress notes, and required clinical records

Requirements

  • Active Connecticut LMFT license in good standing
