As a fully remote position, this role operates within a flexible telehealth framework, allowing clinicians to provide care from the comfort of their homes while accessing the technical tools needed to effectively manage client caseloads. The LPC will hold a caseload of clients, engaging in meaningful therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries. Key daily responsibilities include:

• Establishing rapport with clients and fostering a positive therapeutic alliance.
• Conducting regular meetings to assess client progress, address concerns, and plan for future appointments or discharges as appropriate.
• Developing and implementing tailored, person-centered treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique goals.
• Maintaining precise documentation and progress notes for all clients, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to gather relevant client history and establish therapeutic needs.
• Providing individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to cater to clients' distinct needs.
• Participating in individual supervision to ensure quality of care and professional development.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a holistic support network for clients.
• Embracing a growth mindset, remaining open to feedback and professional advancement.

Our practice serves a diverse outpatient population, inclusive of individuals facing a wide array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and family dynamics. The LPC will be instrumental in tailoring therapeutic approaches that resonate with each client's unique circumstances, ensuring their empowerment and progress towards improved mental well-being.

To be considered for the LPC role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.
• A current, unrestricted LPC license in Connecticut, permitting independent practice.
• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including RMS programs, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to diverse individuals and families.
• Comfort in conducting intake assessments and formulating initial treatment strategies.

While not mandatory, applicants with specialized training in certain therapeutic modalities, experience working with specific populations, or familiarity with electronic record-keeping systems will be highly regarded. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication skills and a passion for mental health advocacy.

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually. We utilize a fee-for-service model that guarantees competitive pay rates ahead of collections, eliminating wait time for reimbursement. Additional financial incentives include bonus opportunities based on performance.
