As an LPC with our organization, you will play a critical role in fostering personal growth and well-being through individualized treatment plans and dedicated support.

About the Organization

Elmira Counseling Services is a leading private outpatient mental health practice located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide high-quality mental health care to individuals and families, promoting healing in the least restrictive environments. Our commitment to quality care extends beyond our clients, encompassing a supportive workplace culture for all team members.

Work Environment

This role is designed to blend convenience and professionalism, with the majority of work conducted remotely. Although much of your work will be from home, you will also collaborate within an outpatient office, sharing values and resources with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care. Our team emphasizes a healthy work-life balance, making it easier for clinicians to manage their caseloads while contributing meaningfully to the mental health community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, including establishing therapeutic alliances and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, stability, and any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Develop, implement, and consistently monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to clients' unique needs.
  • Document client sessions thoroughly, including detailed progress notes and intake assessments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Engage in weekly individual supervision to reflect on client interactions and enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care to clients.
  • Maintain a growth mindset by pursuing continued education and seeking opportunities for professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Elmira Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing various mental health challenges. Your ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and with varying degrees of therapeutic needs will be essential, as your work will directly influence their path towards recovery and enhanced well-being.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LPC license in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical outpatient setting following the completion of your graduate studies.
  • Proficiency in using technology and clinical management software, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.
  • Experience conducting intake assessments and providing individual and family psychotherapy services.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing treatment plans that incorporate client feedback for continuous improvement.
  • A background in crisis intervention and tailored support strategies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and approaches that serve a wide range of mental health issues.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our Fee-for-Service model ensures that you are paid ahead of collections, eliminating the waiting period for reimbursement. Additional benefits include:

  • Bonus opportunities based on performance and client satisfaction.
  • W2 employment structure allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
  • Access to medical, vision, and dental insurance, along with various supplemental options.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions to support your future.
  • Comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage for clinicians.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support both personal and professional development needs.
  • Professional development opportunities, including free continuing education units (CEUs) on diverse mental health topics.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Elmira Counseling Services, we believe in investing in the future of our team members. Our commitment to cross-training opportunities ensures that you can continually expand your skills and knowledge within the field. We encourage clinicians to pursue specialties aligned with their interests, further enhancing career growth and potential advancement within the organization.
