As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments, developing diagnosis, and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to guide therapeutic sessions.
• Providing ongoing psychotherapy sessions to clients dealing with various mental health issues, ensuring an empathetic and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of all clinical activities, including session notes and treatment updates, adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals and participating in open office hours to enhance client care and share best practices.
• Monitoring client progress over time and adapting therapeutic approaches based on their evolving needs.

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent).
• Two or more years of relevant experience providing clinical psychotherapy services to adults.
• Proven expertise in conducting intake assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Strong writing skills for creating and maintaining accurate session documentation.
• A clean professional record devoid of disciplinary actions from licensing boards.

• Specialized training in evidence-based modalities beyond CBT.
• Experience working within a school setting or with young adult populations.
• Demonstrated ability to provide telehealth services effectively.
