What is a remote intake assessment?

A Remote Intake Assessment is an initial evaluation conducted virtually, often by phone or video call, to gather key information about a client or patient. This process is commonly used in healthcare, counseling, or social services to determine the needs, background, and appropriate next steps for individuals seeking assistance. It allows organizations to efficiently screen and triage clients before providing further services, all without requiring in-person meetings. Remote Intake Assessments are especially valuable for improving accessibility and reducing wait times.

To address these, it’s important to use clear communication techniques, maintain a reliable internet connection, and leverage digital tools for documentation. Regular collaboration with team members and ongoing training in tele-assessment best practices can also help maintain high-quality service and client engagement.

To excel as a Remote Intake Assessment Specialist, you need strong assessment, interviewing, and documentation skills, often supported by a background in social work, counseling, or healthcare. Position Summary

The BCBAs will initially provide top-tier clinical oversight, case management, and remote RBT supervision from their home office, supporting cases during afternoon/evening hours . Must be available to work as late as 7pm depending on client needs. These roles will transition to a stable clinical home in a local center once the physical facilities open. Backed by experienced corporate support, you will design behavior intervention plans, mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and foster a collaborative, data-driven environment focused on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  • Conduct behavioral assessments, design programming, and monitor client progress with data-driven precision from your home office.

  • Experience: Proven experience providing high-quality ABA assessment and treatment design; experience supervising remote or in-home RBT teams is a plus.

  • Schedule & Flexibility: Ability to provide consistent supervision during after-school hours (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM) from a dedicated home office, with the expectation to transition to a center-based model in the future.
