A Remote Intake Assessment is an initial evaluation conducted virtually, often by phone or video call, to gather key information about a client or patient. This process is commonly used in healthcare, counseling, or social services to determine the needs, background, and appropriate next steps for individuals seeking assistance. It allows organizations to efficiently screen and triage clients before providing further services, all without requiring in-person meetings. Remote Intake Assessments are especially valuable for improving accessibility and reducing wait times.

Job description

Position Overview

Vitality Peak Health Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team as we strive to enhance the mental well-being of our community. This full-time, remote position provides the perfect opportunity for licensed professionals to offer therapeutic support to clients while enjoying the flexibility of working from any location.

About the Organization

Vitality Peak Health Care Inc. is a forward-thinking mental health organization committed to delivering high-quality therapy services tailored to the unique needs of our diverse clientele. With a strong focus on evidence-based practices, we cultivate an inclusive and empowering environment for both our therapists and clients. We believe in promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth, ensuring that our therapists thrive in their roles while profoundly impacting the lives of their patients.

Work Environment

The work environment at Vitality Peak embraces a fully remote model, offering licensed therapists the ability to create a personalized workspace that enhances productivity and comfort. Our therapists can choose their working hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. This approach supports flexibility in accommodating clients across various schedules, whether it's mornings, evenings, or weekends. With no insurance billing required, therapists can focus on what truly matters—delivering exceptional care to their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial intake assessments to determine client needs and establish treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate client outcomes, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Engage in regular consultations and collaboration with team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to enhancing the therapeutic framework of the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By utilizing a person-centered approach, therapists can build meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster trust and promote healing. The organization focuses particularly on supporting students in need of mental health services, thus the sessions are often funded by educational institutions, allowing therapists to focus entirely on client support.

Qualifications
  • A master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • An active, unrestricted professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) to provide unsupervised mental health therapy.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in providing psychotherapy to adults.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in generating intake assessments, identifying diagnoses, and developing ongoing treatment plans.
  • Excellent written communication skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
  • A clean professional record without disciplinary actions from any licensing board.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Familiarity with school-based mental health services and collaborating with educational professionals.
  • Previous work experience in an outpatient office setting.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of experience and qualifications. Additionally, therapists are eligible for a sign-on bonus with their first client, along with potential bonuses based on performance. A health insurance stipend is available, contingent on meeting minimum eligibility criteria. We also provide support for professional development and a referral program to reward our team for expanding our therapeutic family.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Vitality Peak, we are invested in the professional growth of our therapists. Opportunities for further training and certifications are encouraged and can be made available through our professional development assistance program. As our organization continues to expand, skilled therapists will find pathways to advance into specialized roles or leadership opportunities within the company.

Why Join Our Team
  • 100% remote work, allowing you to customize your work environment.
  • Flexible scheduling options, tailored to meet the needs of both therapists and clients.
  • No insurance billing complexities, allowing more time to focus on providing quality care.
  • Supportive community that prioritizes the well-being of both therapists and clients.
  • Open office hours to foster communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • A commitment to helping you thrive so you can provide the best support for your clients.
