As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Braver Perspective, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments to understand clients' mental health needs.
• Providing tailored therapy sessions, utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Documenting client progress using electronic medical records (EMR) to inform treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Using data-driven approaches to monitor treatment effectiveness and adapt therapeutic strategies based on client responses.
• Collaborating with case management and other healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans that promote holistic well-being.
• Maintaining a flexible and patient-centered approach, and exercising sound clinical judgment to support clients in crisis situations.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in mental health care.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with varying mental health conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, grief, trauma, and ADHD. By addressing each client's unique circumstances, you will help them navigate their challenges and foster resilience and recovery, thereby promoting overall mental wellness.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as per state regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches and familiarity with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses.
• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, which will be verified.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
