Job Title: Software Developer Location: Remote (EST or CST only - starting at 7am EST) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-month contract to extend Compensation Range: $61 - $66 / hour W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description: Seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Developer to build, integrate, optimize, and support enterprise applications and REST APIs, with a primary focus on backend development using NestJS.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain REST APIs supporting enterprise HCM applications
  • Develop backend services using NestJS (60–80% of daily workload)
  • Develop front-end features using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (20% of daily workload)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and API failures
  • Perform root cause analysis and API performance optimization
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in Agile sprint cycles
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and implementation planning
  • Write scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Support CI/CD processes, testing, and deployment activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of professional software development experience (maximum)
  • Strong backend development expertise with NestJS
  • Full stack development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
  • Experience building and integrating REST APIs
  • API performance optimization and root cause analysis experience
  • Experience with Redux
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
