Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Rockland County, NY | Full-Time or Part-Time
Stern at Home Therapy Home Visits / Field-Based


Looking for meaningful PT work close to home? Stern at Home Therapy is hiring PTAs to serve patients across Rockland County, with a core territory covering Monsey and Spring Valley. Additional areas may be added based on your location - keeping your commute local and your schedule efficient.


Compensation - Full-Time

Earn $58,000-$105,300 depending on your employment type and patient volume.

  • W2 Salary: $58,000-$75,000/year (may increase based on patient volume)
  • W2 Tiered: $35-$50 per visit, rate increases with weekly volume
  • 1099 Tiered: $50-$60 per visit, with earning potential up to $105,300/year


Compensation - Part-Time

  • W2: $35-$50 per visit
  • 1099: $50-$60 per visit

What you'll do:

  • Deliver skilled PT treatments in patients' homes across Rockland County, primarily serving Monsey and Spring Valley
  • Work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (including remote supervision)
  • Build relationships with a consistent patient caseload
  • Complete documentation using our streamlined process
  • Coordinate with patients, families, and the broader care team


What we're looking for:

  • Active New York PTA license
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Based in or near Rockland County preferred
  • Passion for delivering patient-centered care
