Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and licensed Personal Lines Insurance Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals and families protect what matters most by providing customized coverage solutions for home, auto, umbrella, and other personal lines insurance products. A strong understanding of personal risk management and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service are essential. Experience with Erie Insurance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate and follow-up on leads through agency referrals, marketing campaigns, and opportunities
  • Educate clients on personal insurance coverages, policy options, and available discounts
  • Prepare and present customized insurance proposals tailored to each client's needs
  • Utilize carrier platforms (including Erie Insurance) to quote, bind, and issue policies accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain strong communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle, then hand off new accounts to the service team
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics as outlined by the agency, mindfull of healthy underwriting practices
  • Maintain detailed records in the agency systems (e.g., AMS360, InsuredMine, etc.) Document.
  • Stay up to date on underwriting guidelines, carrier products, and industry trends

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required). Life license (desired)
  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance sales experience preferred
  • Prior experience working with Erie Insurance systems and products strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with technology including agency management systems and carrier portals
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
