The Sales Manager- Insurance acts as 1 of 3 the main points of contact for Carrier Clients assigned Nationally. Cultivates partnerships to maintain and grow and services of existing and prospective clients that meet their needs for today and in the future. How YOU will make a difference:

  • Service and renew existing client accounts to drive sustainable revenue growth by meeting annual sales KPI's based on budget
  • Negotiate National Carrier pricing and contract terms with the support of the Business Development Director, Dynacare Insurance Solutions
  • Oversee issue management and help manage issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction/retention
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, technological and organizational skills to strategically plan, demonstrate Dynacare's systems, tools and value-added services for new business and market opportunities
  • Participate in commercial planning and budgeting to help set goals and objectives for region
  • Work with Business Development Insurance Team and Director, Corporate Relations to identify and implement client-specific opportunities for new revenue
  • Work with Marketing team to coordinate marketing program execution
  • Analyze performance data and identify/champion opportunities and partner with Operations to resolve issues and improve service delivery
  • Track and communicate performance leveraging existing scorecards and performance measures/metrics
  • Analyze customer data, behaviors, and market intelligence to identify and address customer retention risks
  • Conduct competitor service and market research as required
  • Regularly collect valuable information and in turn communicate it to the Senior Management of Dynacare
  • Maintain strong relationships with back-office personnel, branch and training managers, industry associations and other stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain potential customer database and follow-up files

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through 360 feedback meetings quarterly, investigation and follow-up on concerns

What YOU bring to the role:

  • You consider yourself a change champion and would classify yourself as coachable and collaborative
  • Demonstrated history of building excellent working relationships with Financial Advisors and Administrators
  • Three to five years of related experience in financial services
  • 5-7 year experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Insurance/Medical Diagnostic services sales background considered an asset
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, able to strategically plan, to investigate new business and market opportunities
  • Ability to develop, implement or improve customer relations services
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work using time management skills and techniques
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or a related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience specifically in a sales environment
  • Use of a personal car, along with a clean driver's license is required. Willingness to travel frequently and independently within the region.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in ability to make persuasive presentations and ability to listen to client needs for solutions.
  • Demonstrated success at building relationships, collaborating with a network of internal and external colleagues and subject matter experts
  • The ability to have candid and sometimes difficult conversations and negotiations with clients, while still maintaining and fostering a positive relationship on behalf of Dynacare
  • Demonstrate gathering business intelligence on new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a team-oriented, high volume, time sensitive environment with changing demands to meet the needs of our customers
  • Effective presentation, communication and time management skills.
  • Confident and comfortable dealing with existing Clients and prospective clients
  • A natural ability to connect with the market through networking and exposure.

Working Conditions:

The demands of this function will require travel and will require some overnight travel with stay and hours outside our regular office hours and occasional weekend work with some clients.

Pay rate: $84,000 to $105,000 annually

The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
