Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and reports directly to the President & CEO. This role is responsible for leading the company's global financial strategy, accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, treasury, and risk management while providing strategic guidance to support the organization's continued growth.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative business partner with strong executive presence who can translate financial data into actionable business strategies while building scalable financial processes for a growing international organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy.
  • Lead all aspects of finance, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, payroll, tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth, investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and all applicable financial reporting requirements.
  • Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, capital allocation, and working capital optimization.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and establish financial KPIs across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, corporate governance, and risk management practices.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, insurance providers, and other financial partners.
  • Direct annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, customer agreements, and vendor partnerships from a financial perspective.
  • Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee financial planning for domestic and international operations, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization.
  • Prepare board presentations and executive-level financial analyses.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify financial opportunities and business risks.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 12-15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a Vice President of Finance, Controller, CFO, or equivalent executive leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and corporate finance.
  • Experience leading annual audits and managing banking relationships.
  • Experience managing multi-entity and international financial operations.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
Preferred
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT, SaaS, medical imaging, or software technology companies.
  • Experience with recurring revenue and SaaS business models.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition and subscription-based financial operations.
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, or private equity-backed organizations.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or comparable ERP/accounting systems.
