Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to help clients identify and solve problems, ensuring client safety and confidentiality.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment plans to support clients in managing symptoms of mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Work collaboratively with our administrative team, allowing you to focus solely on providing exceptional care without distractions from business operations.
  • Utilize our cloud-based EHR system for secure and compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients during each session, showing empathy and support as they navigate their mental health challenges.
  • Be proactive in scheduling appointments and follow-ups, facilitating therapeutic sessions at times convenient for both you and your clients, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • A minimum of three years of verifiable experience in mental health counseling.
  • Must have a dependable computer, reliable internet service, and a webcam for telehealth services.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage your own caseload effectively.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with remote therapy practices and telehealth best practices.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with dual diagnoses.
