What is the role about?ย 

This role is chiefly responsible for increasing profitable sales and expanding market share across several key industries in natural gas measurement and industrial process automation. Success will be achieved by focusing on assigned accounts with enthusiasm and determination within the industrial automation sector. The position engages in strategic, complex sales processes, emphasizing the selling of products, services, systems, and solutions.ย 

Which tasks will you perform?ย 

  • Serve as a reliable technical advisor for our customers. Present and sell our solutions and services to current clients and potential new accounts, aiming to reach set targets and increase market share through solution-based selling.ย 
  • Use and accurately maintain the company's CRM system for all customer and sales process data to ensure teamwork, collaboration, and global transparency towards providing an amazing customer experience.ย 
  • Develop direct customer relationships utilizing a deep understanding of customers' business needs, production applications, and technical language utilized in their industry.ย 
  • Apply consultative sales methods and unique solutions to enhance customers' quality control and production efficiency. This approach helps identify their needs and address challenging applications.ย 
  • Provide an amazing customer experience and accurately manage customer communications and customer relationships with named accounts/region.ย 
  • Identify and qualify business and customer opportunities and/or threats; understand the account potential, competitors, and position in the market and requirements for doing business.ย 

What do we expect from you?ย 

You will have (required): ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5-10 years of experience in business development or salesย 
  • Prior sales experience involving sales of complex, high technology industrial control products through direct sales, and/or regional distributors is required.ย 
  • The ideal candidate will be located in Omaha, NE; Oklahoma City, OK; Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO.
    • This is a field-based position requiring the ability to work remotely as well as from a home office.ย 
    • The physical office location for this role is based in Houston, TX; the ideal candidate will travel to the office as needed.ย 
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.ย 

You may have (preferred):ย 

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Rocky Mountain Regionย 
  • High degree of direct sales management skills and the implementation of account sales plans through a network of direct and indirect sales channels.ย 
  • Ability to manage consistently to a common plan, providing sales leadership in the implementation of corporate sales strategies.ย 
  • Fundamental leadership in sales management, opportunity assessment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a global mindset.ย 
  • Prior technical industry experience outside of sales.ย
