Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our remote mental health team serving a hospice center in Del Rio, Texas. This full-time position offers the flexibility to create your weekly schedule while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. With a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, you will have the chance to thrive in a supportive and empowering environment.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to providing exceptional mental health care to the communities we serve. Our hospice center is a place where patients can receive end-of-life emotional support and counseling, allowing them to navigate their mental health needs during challenging times. Our dedicated team of professionals utilizes evidence-based practices to ensure that every patient receives personalized, compassionate care.

Work Environment

This role allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, while collaborating closely with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our advanced telehealth technology facilitates seamless communication, ensuring you are equipped to provide high-quality care wherever you are. The camaraderie among team members fosters a collaborative workspace, promoting joint discussions around case management and therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patients' emotional and psychological needs.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused strategies and evidence-based interventions.
  • Administer modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based approaches tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.
  • Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records following state regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, nurses, and complementary therapists to provide coordinated and holistic care.
  • Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate the standard of care offered.
  • Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families to empower them with vital mental health knowledge and coping strategies.
  • Continuously pursue professional development to stay current with advances in social work and mental health therapies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients in hospice care—individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. You will address the complex emotional needs of these patients, facilitating discussions around grief, acceptance, and mental health challenges. By employing a compassionate approach, you will help clients maintain dignity and quality of life during their final stages.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas is essential.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy is required.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused therapies and an understanding of hospice care principles are preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are needed to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • A collaborative mindset is crucial for working effectively within a team-based care model.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with hospice patients or within palliative care settings.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities specific to grief and loss.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers an attractive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to safeguard your well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance for added security.
  • Malpractice insurance ensuring your professional integrity and peace of mind.
  • An employee assistance program to support both you and your family's mental health needs.
  • Streamlined paperwork processes, allowing you to prioritize patient engagement over administrative tasks.
  • A supportive environment with unlimited referrals, ensuring a fulfilling caseload.
  • Flexible scheduling for an optimal work-life balance.
