Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs and learning pathways tailored to various pharmacy roles (Inpatient, Ambulatory, and Technicians) using adult learning principles.
  • Create instructional materials, including structured lesson plans, training manuals, quick-start guides, tip sheets, and interactive e-learning modules.
  • Review and update curriculum regularly to ensure training documentation matches current system build and actual clinical workflows.
  • Build, configure, and maintain the Epic Master Training (MST) environment to ensure it accurately mirrors the live production environment.
  • Refresh and test patient data within the training environment, creating simulated clinical and medication-dispensing scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot complex environment issues and rebuild training patients or records following system upgrades or code fixes.
  • Lead and manage the Credentialed Trainer (CT) program, including training, mentoring, and evaluating CTs to ensure classroom instruction quality.
  • Coordinate training schedules and course logistics alongside training leadership and application project managers.
  • Conduct high-level training classes for super-users, pharmacy managers, and provider groups as necessary.
  • Partner with Epic Willow Application Analysts to understand system design changes and identify areas where end-user competence can be improved.
  • Analyze end-user performance data and support tickets to design targeted refresher courses or workflow optimizations.
  • Participate in system upgrade reviews, testing new application enhancements and developing implementation training plans.


Qualifications:

  • Willow Inpatient Principal Trainer Certification required.
  • Willow Ambulatory Principal Trainer Certification required.
  • Training Environment Build (TED) Certification required.
