Job Title: Senior DevSecOps / Infrastructure Security Engineer Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Location: Remote (US preferred) Overview We're hiring a hands‐on DevSecOps / Infrastructure Security Engineer to help design, secure, and scale modern cloud infrastructure. This role is focused on building secure systems from the ground up — not just auditing or advising. Responsibilities Design and secure infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Pulumi Strengthen Kubernetes (K8s) security, reliability, and observability Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows Partner with engineering teams to improve secure development practices Identify and remediate infrastructure and application security risks Requirements Strong experience with Node.js in production environments Deep experience with GCP Hands‐on experience with Pulumi (or similar IaC tools such as Terraform) Proven DevSecOps experience (balancing security and engineering) Ability to operate independently and deliver in fast‐paced environments Nice to Have Experience in high‐growth or scaling environments Background in infrastructure security or platform engineering Familiarity with compliance/security frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.) What We're Looking For Engineers who build and ship — not just design or review Strong ownership and ability to execute quickly Pragmatic approach to security and infrastructure Compensation Competitive hourly rate (DOE) Opportunity to convert to full‐time after 3 months #J-18808-Ljbffr
