Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through virtual sessions, utilizing standardized tools and individualized approaches to gauge clientsโ€™ unique challenges.
  • Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions for clients experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy.
  • Guide couples and families through therapy sessions to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and improve relationship dynamics.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, including measurable goals and clearly defined therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during urgent situations by employing de-escalation techniques and connecting clients with appropriate resources.
  • Deliver educational resources and coping strategies to clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge necessary for long-term mental health maintenance.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including detailed treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical regulations.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and legal requirements for a Licensed Professional Counselor, advocating for client confidentiality and informed consent throughout treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, presenting with various mental health issues. Our client base includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and other emotional challenges. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be crucial in effectively guiding these clients toward their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
