Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients through interviews and standardized testing to determine mental health status and treatment needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, targeting specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more.
  • Deliver high-quality psychotherapy to clients in one-on-one settings, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate group or family therapy sessions to foster support and enhance therapeutic outcomes, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere.
  • Regularly monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs and goals.
  • Document all client interactions meticulously in our EMR system to maintain compliance and support seamless communication within the care team.
  • Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to enhance comprehensive care for clients.
  • Engage in professional training and development initiatives to stay current with advancements in mental health treatments and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Harris Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families from various backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as mood disorders, trauma-related issues, adjustment disorders, and more. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience, as well as a potential sign-on bonus.
