Are you a seasoned sales professional with deep expertise in the steel industry? Join a global team where you'll lead sales efforts, develop new business opportunities, and manage customer relationships across North America. If you have strong industry connections and thrive in a fast-paced, international sales environment, this remote role offers the flexibility and challenge you're looking for.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee import and export sales of various steel products, including Carbon Coils/Sheets (HR, CR, Coated, Pre-painted), Plates, Stainless Steel, Pipe & Tubing, Shapes, and Wire Rods.
  • Develop new business opportunities, expanding customer bases and identifying growth potential.
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships, ensuring seamless coordination of sourcing, inventory, logistics, and customer service.
  • Conduct market analysis to assess customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Frequently travel domestically and internationally to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Execute additional tasks within the scope of the role as required by management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in external sales within North American steel mills or major steel processing centers.
  • Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the steel market and well-established relationships with customers across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Product Knowledge: Sales experience with a wide range of steel products is highly preferred
